Miele Double Oven Repair in Sacramento — H 7000 Double Columns
A double H 7000 is two independent ovens sharing one column — separate cavities, separate temperature sensors, separate door locks, and on many configurations one shared M Touch computer. That architecture shapes the diagnosis: a fault in one cavity is almost never “the oven,” it’s one circuit — and we test the cavities independently before quoting anything. ServiceON is a Miele Factory Authorized Service Center (BEAR #49373) repairing double wall ovens across Sacramento, from Land Park and East Sacramento remodels to Folsom and El Dorado Hills new builds.
The double-oven calls we see most
- One cavity not heating, the other fine — element, relay or sensor on the dead cavity only. Confirmed by measuring element draw per cavity, not by replacing parts in both.
- Temperature mismatch between cavities — a drifting temperature sensor (F31 territory) on one side, verified against a calibrated probe at cavity center — not by whether the cakes look done.
- Door lock faults after self-clean — pyrolysis on a double column stresses both latch assemblies; F32/F33 usually flags the cavity that ran the cycle. Never force a locked door — the latch assembly becomes the casualty every time.
- Pyrolysis that never completes — F23 from a weak heating circuit or a tired door seal bleeding heat.
- Display or control faults affecting both cavities — the one genuinely shared component on M Touch models.
- Uneven results after a Sacramento summer — kitchens that see 90°F+ ambient age cooling fans and door seals faster; a weak cooling fan (F75) shows up on double columns first.
200+ lb, trimmed into cabinetry
Double columns are heavy, tight installs — custom panels, exact reveals, hardwood floors underneath. We bring the lift and the second set of hands, remove and reinstall trim correctly, and protect the floor: no one should drag a double oven across your kitchen alone. Panel and trim work is included in the visit, not an extra.
How quoting works
The diagnostic visit includes reading the fault-event log on both cavities with Miele service software. After that you receive a written quote — and no work begins without your approval. Repairs use genuine Miele OEM parts sourced through Miele’s factory channel, and most single-fault repairs complete in one visit.

FAQ
Only one cavity failed — do I pay for both?
No. We diagnose per cavity and quote per cavity. The healthy side gets a complimentary sensor check while we’re there, nothing more.
Is a 12-year-old double H 6000 worth repairing?
Usually yes — Miele parts availability remains excellent, and a repaired H 6000 outlasts most new mid-market double ovens, which matters when the alternative is re-cutting cabinetry.
Can you match my custom panels back?
Yes — panel removal and reinstallation is routine for us on Vi and H-series columns. Bring-your-own-carpenter is not required.
